The EpiqVision Ultra LS650-W model from Epson USA combines LCD technology in the Short Distance sector with 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500000:1 and a native UHD (4K2K+) 3840 x 2400 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 50 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 523 cm can be illuminated with 3600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 349 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. Thanks to Android TV, the device features an intuitive user interface with direct access to popular streaming apps. Integrated voice control via Google Assistant also facilitates menu navigation and content searching. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Chromecast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Since entering the market in 2023, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
