A projector from Epson USA is the Pro L1495U, whose 3D-Laser-LCD model delivers 9000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 2000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. A look at the light output reveals: The 9000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 964 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 643 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
