Designed for the Short Distance sector, the PowerLite L790SU model from Epson USA features 7000 ANSI lumens, a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast ratio of 5000000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projection Calculator. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 158 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 7000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 567 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
