This projector from Panasonic utilizes LED-LCD technology, achieving 1100 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 5500:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. According to Panasonic, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 337 cm can be illuminated with 1100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 225 cm. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 25 decibels. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Panasonic's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.

This projector has been one of my best investments and still delivers a beautiful picture even after a long time. When browsing through offers, you sometimes wonder what has actually happened in the last ~10 years of projector development. Apart from a technological update, the device has everything you need
-Dimensions and design: fits
-Quiet 25db, not only on paper, but also in real operation: fits
-Super robust mechanics
-Great lens shift range, easy focusing: fits
-Low power consumption
-Update: New lamp technology would be great
-Update: Problem solution for PBS glass in front of lamp
-Update: Current HDMI specification needed
-Update: Resolution to native FHD and UHD
Many thanks to Panasonic for this device!

good device for little money
yes you can only say one thing buy people.because this projector was a reference when it was new.the equipment alone is great.picture is still good and the operation is simple and good.it‘s really fun to watch movies with this Panasonic projector.I can only demand positive things from Panasonic.Super company.only very few manufacturers can keep up.Epson and Benq are still at eye level.Acer also maybe or Sim2.not even Sony which are very expensive can keep up.in the price/performance ratio Panasonic is very hard to beat.top quality at reasonable prices.that‘s how it has to be.

super, affordable, versatile device
:) I bought the device second-hand - according to the selection criteria I took from this website and was very pleasantly surprised. Everything simply fits, as I need many functions (lens shift, key stone, HDMI, teachable remote control, etc.). The super quiet fan is also very important so as not to disturb a good sound system. The only thing is the brightness, which I am happy to accept in exchange for a quieter fan - good home theater is not just about picture but also sound.

Top satisfaction
I bought the projector for the World Cup because it was rated the best home cinema projector < €2,000 by Stiftung Warentest 05/2006. A great device, absolutely recommendable. Razor-sharp picture, no pixel effect. The colors are great. Adjustment and connection options - everything you could wish for. The fan is very quiet and doesn‘t get in the way, even if you‘re sitting right in front of it. The lens-shift function is very good because you no longer have to place the device in the center of the screen (without image loss because it is optical instead of digital). The learning and programmable remote control is also very useful. A very successful device that I can recommend without hesitation.
The device would only be even better if the projector were brighter (it has 1,100 lumens, you need a slightly darkened room) and if the black were even darker (it‘s almost really black though).
I‘m now looking forward to the World Cup even more!

Dream picture
We use the PTAE900 in conjunction with a Cinemateq Picture Optimizer II.
The picture is simply fantastic. Super beautiful colors and super sharp. There are no more pixel structures to be seen. This is a problem with some LCDs, especially with landscape pictures. This projector is super!

Panasonic the second.
The Panasonic PT AE700 was one of the most popular projectors in home cinema. Its successor, the PT AE900, goes one better in terms of picture quality. Black is what it should be with this projector, and not gray.
