Based on LCD technology, the Panasonic PT L501XE device delivers 1200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 200:1 as a projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 1200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 302 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 201 cm. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2001 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
