As a projector, the Panasonic PT L701XE combines LCD technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 1200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 500:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 1200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 302 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 201 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2001 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
