The projector PT LW280 by Panasonic operates as a LCD device with 2800 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 5000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 538 cm can be illuminated with 2800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 359 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
