The PT LB50E model from Panasonic combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Panasonic, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 259 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
