Behind the name PT RQ13K is a DLP projector by Panasonic, whose main features include 10000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a WQXGA 2560 x 1600 resolution. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 10000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 871 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 581 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
