The M333XS is a 3D-DLP projector by Nec, whose specifications list 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Nec, the lamp has a durability of 3500 hours. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 112 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 500 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 333 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (20W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system.
