As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Nec M403X is equipped with 4000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3500 hours for this projector's lamp. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 367 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (20W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
