The Nec NP500W is a LCD projector offering 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
