As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Nec MC371X is equipped with 3700 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 15000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 3700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 530 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 353 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
