Known as the WT610, this Laser-DLP projector by Nec features basic specs of 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3500:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 64 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 515 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 343 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
