Based on DLP technology, the Nec LT220 device delivers 1800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 500:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 369 cm can be illuminated with 1800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 246 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
