As a projector, the Nec V260W combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 2600 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. According to Nec, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 518 cm can be illuminated with 2600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 345 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
