A projector from Nec is the NC2002ML, whose 3D-DLP model delivers 20000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HD2K 2048 x 1080 and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 50000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 34.2 years. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 20000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1232 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 821 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2019 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
