Designed for the Short Distance sector, the UM280X model from Nec features 2800 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 72 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 2800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 461 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 307 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
