The Nec LT265 is a DLP projector that brings 2500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 1600:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 29 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.

I have been using the NEC LT265 for 2 years and am still happy that I bought it for the price it still costs today. Since the projector is mainly used in restaurants and has a built-in smoke filter, it still delivers a clean picture to this day. The only drawback is the flickering of the picture when the projector starts up, which stops after about 2 minutes. This happened half a year ago. I use the projector in Eco Mode and stand about 10 m away from the wall. You can still see the picture clearly in a semi-darkened area. Of course, it‘s better if you darken the room completely. photos from an HD camera were once played on the projector. It‘s amazing what the component still gets out of it. Razor-sharp images.
