Behind the name VE280X is a 3D-Laser-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Nec, whose main features include 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. Looking at practical performance, up to 461 cm can be illuminated with 2800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 307 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
