The projector K11 by Acer operates as a LED-BrilliantColor-DLP device with 200 ANSI lumens, a WVGA 858 x 600 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. A look at the light output reveals: The 200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 144 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 96 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.

I bought the Acer K11 after I got to know the Acer K10 at the diy-community beamer meeting. The K11 was not yet available at that time. I normally use an Acer PD 100 for everyday use as a second TV when my girlfriend wants to watch a different program. In a comparison test with simultaneous projection with both projectors, I only noticed insignificant differences in brightness with the lux meter. I think it‘s simply brilliant.
