With the P1557Ki, Acer offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. According to Acer, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. A look at the light output reveals: The 4500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 682 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 455 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
