As a projector, the Acer K138STi combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 800 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 100000:1. An LED lifespan of 20000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. A look at the light output reveals: The 800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 287 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 191 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
