Designed for the Standard-Portabel sector, the P1201B model from Acer features 2700 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 3700:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. Looking at practical performance, up to 453 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 302 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.

Everything is perfect for the price, with one exception!
Watch out!
The projector needs a very large distance from the projection wall.
For example, it needs about 8m distance from the wall for a 4m wide image.
It is therefore not well suited for home entertainment.
If you want a large projection image and don‘t have much space in the house, you need to be careful with the projector.
