Categorized in the Standard-Portabel segment, the P1287 projector from Acer projects with a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, alongside 4200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 17000:1. According to Acer, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 564 cm can be illuminated with 4200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 376 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
