Known as the PD113, this DLP projector by Acer features basic specs of 1600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. According to Acer, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 348 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 232 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.

I would say the cw motor is not working...did you have the beamer open to clean it??? then it could be that you have inserted a board incorrectly...it happened to me too beamer was running but there was no picture...I would advise you to call acer service the customer service is ok...they help immediately...send it in and then it comes back intact!!!! they have already done it 3 times with me!!!!....because the spare parts supplier from acer unfortunately has his ass open and has no idea about the material!!! it is also better to buy new lamps directly from acer and have them installed....better send them in because the lamp costs only 120,-euros with installation....instead of 240,-euros or more with the Jews from intermediaries!!!!

Fan failure
Hello,
I have a problem with my Acer PD113.
The projector can be switched on, the lamp comes on but the fans don‘t start.
After a few seconds the projector goes off again.
Does anyone know the problem and know a solution?

Very satisfied
My PD113 is over a year old. I use it almost daily in conjunction with a screen and so far I am very satisfied. What amazed me is the fact that despite several power failures during operation, the lamp is still running.
