Behind the name VL6530i is a 3D-LED-DLP projector by Acer, whose main features include 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projection Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
