The hardware properties of the HD140X manufactured by Optoma include 3000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast value of 23000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 371 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
