The Optoma UHD38x is a 3D-LED-DLP projector that brings 4000 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution alongside a contrast of 1000000:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels.
