As a projector for the Short Distance sector, the Optoma HD31UST is equipped with 3400 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 28000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 50 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3400 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 592 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 395 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 26 decibels. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
