The basic data of the Optoma W312 includes 3200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 as well as a contrast of 20000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. Regarding projection size, the value of 3200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 575 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 383 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
